    Broward Economic Engine Leaders Look to the Future at May 18 Luncheon

    FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida – Chief executives of Broward County’s seaport, airport and tourism bureau are set to brief regional business leaders on future planning at a Friday, May 18, 2018 luncheon to be presented by the Port Everglades Association at the Greater Fort Lauderdale-Broward County Convention Center.

    The tenth annual Economic Engine Performance Report luncheon event is slated to run from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., including time for networking, presentations and panel discussion.

    Steve Cernak, Chief Executive and Port Director of Port Everglades; Mark Gale, CEO and Director of Aviation at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport; and Stacy Ritter, President and CEO of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau, are scheduled to speak on a panel moderated by Heiko Dobrikow, Executive Vice President, The Las Olas Company & General Manager, Riverside Hotel.

    “This is an exciting time to focus on these three economic leaders,” said Anthony Caggiano, President of the Port Everglades Association and Senior Marketing Manager with Seabulk Towing. “Their team approach contributes to the unequaled growth, expansion and development now and for the foreseeable future. This year’s Economic Engine Performance Report focuses on the theme of global connectivity.”
