Port Everglades Association Business Luncheon, 11.30am – 1.30pm at Lauderdale Yacht Club. “REDCON: Always at the Ready at Port Everglades.”  Leaders of a trio of locally based world-class maritime emergency response organizations, Cliff Berry Inc., Resolve Marine and the Broward Sheriff’s Fire Rescue & Emergency Services Department are all based right here at Port Everglades and are always in Readiness Condition (REDCON) often working collaboratively in a broad range of critical circumstances, as well as furnishing vital training to responders from around the globe.     The Port Everglades Advocacy Team (PEAT), part of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance, held its quarterly meeting at the beautiful Disney Terminal this week. New PEAT Chairman Richard Vogel presided over the meeting which included a detailed briefing by senior representatives of the USACE Jacksonville District on the Port Everglades deepening and widening program.
